Ticket is the leading provider of leisure travel with 70 shops in Sweden and Norway, as well as a strong online presence in four Nordic countries.
Our collaboration with Ticket includes both brand and activation activities such as strategy and concept development, messaging platform, corporate identity, TVC, award-winning print, outdoor advertising, radio, digital, retail, and PR.
The brand is very well known, yet only a few know what Ticket stands for and why they should use Ticket's services. In addition, the travel category is generic. Almost all the actors contribute to this through like-minded behavior.
In a clear and differentiating way communicate who and what Ticket is and the benefits Ticket offer to the consumers. Be distinctive in a generic market.
1) Absolute Last Minute Travel
In a myriad of travel agencies who offer last minute travel, we wanted to show that your dream trip is closer than you think – and that a last minute ticket from Ticket is the way to get there.
We created customized ads in selected magazines where we let the reader discover that the model in the ad reads the same issue that the reader holds in their hands.
2) Obama’s Last Minute Chance
When US President Barack Obama arrived in Stockholm for a meeting with Fredrik Reinfeldt (Sweden’s prime minister at the time), he was greeted with large, red boards offering a cheap last minute trip to Moscow. Through the campaign, we wanted to give Obama a chance to change his mind. For just 196 USD, Obama could fly to the Russian President Vladimir Putin and have the bilateral talk the Americans canceled a few weeks ago.
“Isn’t it more important for you to discuss Snowden than ‘femte jobbskatteavdraget’?”* was the message on the boards seen at Stockholm Arlanda airport, outside the Swedish government headquarters Rosenbad and outside Grand Hôtel where Obama was staying.
Meanwhile, in Moscow, we carried out an identical campaign directed at Putin. Signs outside the Kremlin offered Putin a last minute trip to Obama in Stockholm for only 4906 RUB.
* 'Femte jobbskatteavdraget' translates to ‘fifth work-tax-deduction’. A hot current topic in Swedish national politics – but maybe not that interesting for outsiders.
3) Absolutely Definitely Last Minute Travel
Ticket feature a generous selection of last minute travel to a wide range of destinations – as many as 15,000 new destinations every week. In a simple and clear way, we communicate that Ticket is the obvious go-to place for (very) last minute travel deals.
